INCI Name: Caprylhydroxamic Acid (and) 1,2-Hexanediol (and) Ethylhexylglycerin

The applicable pH value range is 3~9 . The active substance Caprylhydroxamic Acid can remain in an unionized state during the whole process from acid to neutral, which is good in inhibiting mold and can effectively replace some traditional organic acid preservatives.

The general recommended dosage is 0.4~1.5%.

Easily soluble in lower alcohols and glycols.

Compatible with most cosmetic ingredients, but iron ions may cause discoloration, it is recommended to add a certain amount of EDTA-2Na to the formula.

It can be used in personal care products such as creams, lotions, make-up, facial masks, shampoos, shower gels, wet wipes, etc. It has moisturizing, emollient and antiseptic effects.
