Stable to light and heat, can withstand high temperature of 80℃.

Applicable pH value is 2-12.

Soluble in lower alcohols and diols, slightly soluble in water.

The recommended use level is 0.5-2.0%.

The Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) of the United States classifies Pentylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol and Ethylhexylglycerin as cosmetic ingredient in the "S" category, and the safe use concentration of the former two can reach 5%; the latter use up to 8% for rinse-off products and up to 2% for leave-on products.

Compatible with various surfactants, proteins and common cosmetic ingredients.

It can be used in various leave-on and wash-off products such as creams, lotions, facial masks, wet wipes, etc.
